What this couple have to offer can be life changing! Tanya was so patient with me while preparing me for the father-daughter dance at Lisa and Jose's wedding. Not only was the choreography she created so moving but she took such pains to develop steps that would look impressive yet ones that even I, card carrying member of the 2 left feet club, could remember when the time came. Thanks Tanya for everything you did to make our dance the beautiful and memorable event that it was!

Phil's group classes are great. He seems to relate to all students and finds a way to explain dance steps or routines to everyone, regardless of their previous experience or lack of it. He is kind and never criticizes any student or makes them feel they can't become a good dancer. He is a certified ballroom dance instructor and has been well trained for all ballroom dances.

We had a wonderful time with Tanya learning the Viennese walz. It was so nice. We loved learning from her. She is a wonderful teacher, excellent! She is very maticulous and what they are doing is sharp - I recommend it to anybody!

I have had the pleasure of taking private dance lessons with Tanya Palma to improve my West Coast Swing. Tanya was so easy to dance with and laid the whole dance out for me on our first meeting.... In WCS everything is either a "Basic", a "Whip" or a "Walk". So, we just added dance steps to fall under those areas as we went on. Tanya is focused on her students success. She is experienced in all dances. Definitely one of my favorite dance teachers.

To quote Ernest Hemingway: "good is what you feel good after." This was always my experience when taking West Coast Swing lessons from Tanya. No matter how out-of-sorts I might have been feeling prior to a session I always left with a sense of accomplishment and pure joy. Not only is Tanya an excellent instructor with an ability to detect and correct flaws in executing a particular move, her naturally pleasant and patient demeanor made practices enjoyable from beginning to end.

My husband and I were very lucky to stumble upon Tanya and Phil while (feverishly) searching for a dance teacher to prepare for our son's wedding. Phil and Tanya are obviously at the top of their art, and their structured teaching methods won us over.
